About Me

My name is Martyn and this is the little corner of the website that gives me the chance to introduce myself to you

martynI was born in 1961 in Cambridgeshire, England. I am happily married to my lovely wife and have three children. I continue to live in Cambridgeshire and run a small practice as a qualified Hypnotherapist and experienced life & soul coach. As well as running a life coaching practice I also run a publishing and technical design business.

My commitment with this site and with my personal life & soul coaching programmes is to help change your thinking patterns, behaviours, beliefs and thought processes to live the life you were born to live in the most positive way.

I like to incorporate in to my work values from any belief system that resonates with me as a compassionate individual who believes we are here to make ourselves and the world around us a better place now and each time we leave it

I also very much like to say committed to my own personal development as well as my clients and continue with ongoing training, study and research

About Kivati

What does the name Kivati mean? When I was first looking for a name to use for my life coaching business I came up with several ideas that were not really resonating with me on a personal level.  Some place in the back of my mind I had the name Kivati and that meant nothing to me at the time. Eventually I decided to do a search and to be honest to my surprise I discovered that it is an alternative name for Kwatte a God of Native American Mythology who was a deity of change, transformation and improvement.

I have learned over the years to trust in my intuition and in my own inspiration so this was the name that was chosen and Kivati Personal Development was reborn back in 2005

The spiral logo used with the name is used to symbolise our inner and outer journey towards the higher self and the inner Self. Spirals symbolically represent a passage into the collective unconscious and then back into the world renewed with a greater psychological understanding of who we are and why we are here. This journey provides what the famous psychologist Carl Jung called the transcendental function of the psyche by which we achieve what should be our highest goal: the full realization of the potential of our individual Self

I wish you every success in your journey of self development and growth
